Strong Analytics builds machine learning and AI solutions for clients from startups to Fortune 500s tackling a range of business problems. Developed by our talented machine learning scientists and engineers, these solutions address complex problems in manufacturing, gaming, agriculture, healthcare, and many other industries. As part of our continued success, we are now seeking a Director of Growth to lead both strategy and execution of our B2B growth marketing arm. In this role, you will be key in driving continued clientele to Strong, with a high level of autonomy to iterate on and experiment with marketing strategy.

As Director of Growth, you will adopt an established foundation that has contributed to our consistent year-over-year growth, with a lot of freedom to build on that strategy and try things previously untested. Strong prior experiences across PPC ads, SEO, email marketing, and copywriting in B2B or tech contexts will be highly useful in this role. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, creative thinker, and very comfortable using and interpreting data to set strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy and execution of Strong’s growth marketing function

  • Manage and grow relationships with partner agencies and other sources of business or potential partnership

  • Manage PPC and other advertising channels

  • Manage outbound email and social media channels

  • Optimize and manage our website, with an emphasis on SEO and SEM

  • Develop various pieces of copy, including blog adaptations of technical writing

  • Ideate and run industry-focused marketing campaigns, coordinating with outbound sales resources as needed

  • Collaborate in a fully remote environment using tools like Slack

Requirements

Qualifications

Applicants must reside in either the US or Canada. All applicants will be considered based on their experience and demonstrated skill/aptitude, not formal education. Candidates will be evaluated based on experience in the following areas:

  • B2B and tech industry growth marketing (5-8+ years preferred). Experience in a B2B agency or consultancy is a huge plus.

  • Experience across digital marketing channels, with an emphasis on PPC ads, email, SEO and SEM, and copywriting

  • Strong written communication, especially with technical concepts for different audiences

  • KPI tracking, reporting, and the use of data to inform strategy

  • Overall creativity, with the ability to problem solve and set strategy around new initiatives

  • Comfort level using a variety of digital marketing tools, e.g. CRM, ad platform, email marketing platform, CMS
